FOR NATURE LOVERS

During a road trip, I was recommended this charming seaside and tourist village on the northern coast of Sardinia. Santa Teresa Gallura is especially popular with Italians who come here for family vacations. From the coast of Santa Teresa Gallura, you can see the Corsican town of Bonifacio, just an hour away by ferry. The village is also a great base if you want to explore the Maddalena archipelago.

The most beautiful beaches of Santa Teresa Gallura are around Capo Testa, a peninsula easily accessible by car or shuttle (only in summer). Here, you’ll discover long sandy beaches and stunning small coves with natural granite rock formations sculpted by the sea and wind.

Curious visitors and archaeology enthusiasts will find an ancient Roman quarry site with submerged Roman columns shaped by water and time.

For nature lovers, a hike to the Capo Testa lighthouse is highly recommended to admire the breathtaking Mediterranean landscapes. A trek through the Valle della Luna is also well worth the visit!
